Pastor Jeffery Luplow
Pastor Luplow began his theological studies at Northwestern College in Watertown, WI, earning his BA in 1983. He then enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and during the third year of this theological program, he served as vicar at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI. He then graduated with his Master of Divinity degree in the spring of 1988, and was assigned through the conference of presidents in the Wisconsin Synod to serve as pastor of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church and School in Clearwater, FL. In September of 1990, he accepted the Lord’s call to serve Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and School in Monroe, Michigan, until 1998. At that time Jeff left the pastoral ministry and worked as a sales consultant in the computer and pharmaceutical industries until 2013. On October 27, 2013, the Voter’s Assembly of St. John’s Lutheran Church extended a divine call to Pastor Luplow to serve as full time pastor.
Pastor is married to Jeanine (Schiefer of Frankenmuth) and they have four children and seven grandchildren.
