Worship Services

The heritage of the Lutheran church puts the divine service at the center of activities and Christ as our Savior at the center of the divine service. We encourage our members to regularly feed their souls though regular use of the Word and Sacraments. Feel free to browse through our sermon posts that follow the Christian church year.

Adult Bible Classes

One of our Bible classes are held each Sunday at 9:00 A.M. We also have weekday Bible Classes which focus on specific topics. Contact the church office by phone or email for dates and times.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School is held every Sunday at 9:00 A.M., with the exception of July and August. Ages 3 and up are invited to join us in learning about Jesus, who is our Savior from sin.

Confirmation

Confirmation classes are held for grades 5 - 8.  Our children study the Bible with Luther’s Small Catechism, becoming firmly grounded in God’s Word and the Lutheran faith. After these years of training, they are confirmed in their faith, and become communicant members of St. John’s.

Youth for Christ

Youth for Christ is open to young people of our congregation who are in grades 7 - 12. We meet every Sunday morning for Bible Study at 9:00 A.M. We also meet for special activities planned by the Youth.

Child Development Center

Our Child Development Center is open year-round to all members, as well as non-members.  Classes are held weekdays, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.  Extended child care is available weekdays, 7:00a.m. - 6:00p.pm  In addition to regular preschool curriculum, God’s Word is taught in all we do.  Contact Mrs. Misty Parker for more information and rate schedules.
